Abstract
Terrain rendering is a hot domain of computer graphics research.The high-field array is put together based on fractal theory and terrain data model is established with character of fractal,and the Diamond-Square algorithm is improved in order to accelerate the speed of terrain's forming.Then the model's visualization was implemented using OpenGL,and finally 3-D realistic terrain with dynamic character was formed.
