Abstract
Objective To optimize the extraction process of total flavonoids from radix puerariae. Methods Water circumfluence,microwave-assisted,ultrasonic wave-assisted and n-Butanol were employed in the extraction and purification processes of total flavonoids. Results The extraction rate of total flavonoids obtained by microwave-assisted was higher than the others, the yield was 91.86%,and the purity was up to 87.56% after purification. The extraction rates of ultrasonic wave-assisted and water circumfluence were 87.88%,85.33%,respectively.Conclusion Microwave-assisted method is energy-saving,efficient and has little pollution, which can be used to extract total flavonoids.
