Abstract

Objective To observe the efficacy of metformin combined with Diane-35 treated polycystic ovary syndrome. Methods The 40 cases of polycystic ovary syndrome and Insulin resistance in patients were randomly divided into 2 groups. Each group was respectively received treatment with Diane-35,metformin combined with Diane-35,and compared the changes of the clinical symptoms and biochemical indicators of endocrine after 6 months. Results The 2 groups after treatment compared with before treatment, there was no significant difference about the BMI,WHRand FSH,the Diane-35 group had significantly decreased in T,LH and GIR,and significantly increased SHBG after treatment(P0.05),but there was no significant difference about TG,CRP and IGF-1.The metformin combined with Diane-35 group had significantly decreased in T,LH,TG,FBG,FINS,IGF-1,CRP and significantly increased in SHBG,GIR after treatment (P0.05).Conclusion Metformin combined with Diane-35 for treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome can effectively control hyper-androgenism,significant improvement in clinical symptoms, improve insu-lin sensitivity.
