On Montesqieu's Civil Law Thought

According to Montesqieu,civil law is a law which adjusts citizen's relations and is opposite to the political law which adjusts the relations between the ruler the ruled.The civil law of a country mustaccommodate to its political system,natural conditions,life style,population,customs,religious belief and etc.The fundamental role of civil law is to protect people's liberty to achieve the idea of all being equal before law.
