Abstract
Civil law as the basis of the modern legal system contains a profound cultural accumulation and rich flavor of the humanities.Civil law idea is the typical reflection of human's civilization and valuable pursuit in civil society.The essence of civil law idea is justice,and its core incarnate inviolability of private right,equality of personality and autonomy of will.Civil law idea has developed with the advancement of civil law.With the conversion from the formal justice to the real justice,civil law idea meets the needs of social development.In modern China,promoting civil law idea has great significance for fostering civil society and building the state ruled by law.
