Abstract
The color reaction of the meso-tetra-(3,5-dibromo-4-hydroxyphenyl)porphyrin with Pt(Ⅱ) in the presence of TritonX-100 were studied. Results show that the reagent reacts with Pt(Ⅱ) and Na_2SO_3 to form a stable complex(1:1:2) in the presence of Na_2SO_3 buffer at pH 9.4.The maxium absorp- tion wavelength and apparent molar absorptivity are 386 nm and 3.76×10~5L·mol~(-1)·cm~(-1),respec- tively.Beer's law is obeyed in the range of 0—4.0μg/10 mL for Pt(Ⅱ).The method has been applied to the determination of trace platinum in catalyst and platinum concentrate with RSD of 1.26%—3.76% and recovery of 97.6%—98.2%。
