Abstract
Objective: To study the specificity of tumor specific growth factor (TSGF) in diagnosis of cancer,in the changes before and after chemotherapy and the clinical value. Methods: With the TSGF quick cancer diagnostic reagent Kit produced by Fujian New Land, the TSGF level was measured in 50 patients with benign tumor,155 cases with malignant tumor and a part of patients after chemotherapy. Results: (1) The positive rate of TSGF of malignant tumor was 78.71%,the sensitivity was 84.7%,specificity was 92.0% and the accuracy was 81.95%.(2)The serum TSGF level decreased remarkably in the patients who took a favourable turn after treatment. Conclusion: TSGF can take an important role in the diagnosis of tumor, observing efficacy of treatment and monitoring course of the disease.
