The contrastive study between three-line construction and west development

Three line construction is a massive constructive movement for strategic home front happened in west area of China in 1960s while west is a new large scale for west China started from the end of the twentieth century and that will continue .The contrastive study between the two west developments has a profound historical and realistic significance.Due to the international background of Cold War and and development and national economical development, Chinese leaders of the two generation framed two different strategies for China. From the plan of Food, Clothing, Consumption to the plan of combat readiness, three line construction is the decision made at the time of a sudden change of international situation, tense relationship with neighboring countries and difficult situation of national economy. The plan of west was brought out when peace and became the theme of international and national economical situation was fine. It is also the materialization of Deng Xiaoping's idea of Two Overall Situation .Three line construction realized the first fast of the west economy of China while the new west is carried through under the situation of socialistic market economy and is from government leading to market leading.Therefore three line construction provided historical and realistic significance for the new west development.
