Abstract

Objective To compare the combination of traditional Chinese and western medicine treatment of hyperthyroidism. Methods 80 cases of hyperthyroidism patients were randomly divided into two groups: treatment group(traditional Chinese and western medicine treatment) 40 cases and the control group(western medicine treatment) 40 cases,in both groups at the beginning of oral tapazole 15~30mg/d,by medication to maintain volume(2.5 to 5mg/d),the treatment group plus traditional Chinese medicine treatment, the control group simplicity antithyroid drugs. After the observation of medication in patients with symptoms, signs and review serum T3,T4 or FT3,FT4 and TSH. Observe the effects of the two groups. Results The two groups after treatment than before treatment TT3,TT4,FT3,FT4 decreased(P0.05),S-TSH levels increased(P0.05); TT3,FT3 of The treatment group decreased more obviously(P0.05) after treatment; The cure rate in treatment group higher than the control group(P0.05); the inefficiency in control group lower than the treatment group(P0.05). Conclusion The curative effect of treatment group higher than the control group.
