Abstract

Objective To investigate the serum levels of amyloid A and CRP with coronary heart disease patients and analyzing their relationship with coronary heart disease and the correlation. Methods We used enzymes rate method and ELISA to detect the serum levels of SAA and CRP in 110 cases of patients with coronary artery disease(diagnosing by angiographically checking),and 50 cases of healthy check-up,and statistical analysis. Results The serum levels of CRP and SAA in the patients with coronary artery disease were significantly higher than normal(P 0.01).Among the patients, the severer the coronary lesions, the higher the levels of serum SAA and CRP.Single factor related analysis showed that, the levels of serum SAA correlated with CRP significantly. Conclusion The levels of SAA and CRP correlated positively with coronary severity, and the correlation is very significant. The serum SAA and CRP could be used as the sensitivity index forecasting coronary heart disease.
