Effect of Ampelopsin on the Contraction of Isolated Uterus of Rabbits Induced by Some Mediators

Abstract

Objective:To observe the antagonism of Ampelopsin(AP) on the contraction of isolated uterus of rabbits induced by some mediators.Methods:In vitro experimental method of smooth muscle was used.Results:AP and Ver can inhibit the contractile rhythms of uterus and contraction of isolated uterus of rabbits induced by KCL and oxytocin.AP can inhibit the contraction of isolated uterus induced by Ca~(2+) after the uterus was depolarized by high concentration of K~+.And it can also inhibit intracellular Ca~(2+)-dependent contraction induced by oxytocin and extra cellular Ca~(2+)-dependent contraction induced by CaCl_2 respectively,especially the former one.Conclusion:AP has significant relaxing effect on the contraction of isolated uterus.
