Clinical Observation of “Shugan Huoxue Huatan Decoction” in Tr eating Nonalcoholic Fatty Hepatitis

To observe the clinical efficacy of “Shugan Huoxue Huatan Decoction” in the treatment of nonalcoholic fatty hepatitis, 86 subjects were randomized into treatment group in which 56 cases were treated with this Decoction and control group in which 30 cases were treated with “Bao Gan Tai”. The liver function, blood lipid and B-ultrasonic results were observed before and after treatment. Results: The liver function, blood lipid and B-ultrasonic results were improved obviously better in treatment group than in control group; the total effective rate was 89.3% in treatment group and 70.0% in control group,P0.05. It is concluded that this Decoction is quite effective to reduce blood lipid, protect liver and diminish enzymes, consequently to promote intrahepatic lipid metabolism and eliminate fat drop.
