Abstract

Objective To observe the clinical effect and safety of induction of labor in term pregnancy by dinoprostone.Methods Totally 186 pregnant women of single full-term fetal,head position,cervical Bishop score≤4 pregnancy induced labor pointers because of prolonged pregancy or oligohydramnios were randomly divided two groups,Dinoprostone group(92)and oxytocin group(94).Results There were no significant differences in the comparison of pregnant women age,gestational weeks,birth number,cervical Bishop score without treatment;There were significant differences in induction rate(93.5%,71.3%),parturient rate(75.58%,52.24%)delivering rate(93.85%,65.71%),The time [(8.95±4.95)h,(22±12.68)h] from medication to labor between the Dinoprostone group and oxytocin group,There were no significant differences in the total stage of labor,post partum hemorrhage,neonatal asphyxia between the two groups.Over uterine contraction and precipitate labor rate in Dinoprostone group were significant higher than that in oxytocin group. Conclusions Dinoprostone was effective and safe for labor induction in term pregnancy,Monitor closely stages of labor,the uterine contraction and fetal heart because of the side-effect of over uterine contraction,and take out the dinoprostone when necessary.
