The Effects of Large Dose Naloxone in Severe Intoxication of Tetrame Patients

Objective To evaluate the effects of large dose naloxone in treatment of severe intoxication of tetrame patients。Methods According to the extent of coma,127 cases were divided into light coma group and deep coma group.Each group was randomly divided into treatment group,control group and general treatment group.The basic treatment in three groups was the same.but the patients in treatment group was given large dose naloxone,the patients in general treatment group was given usual dose naloxooe,and no naloxone was given in control group.The clinical effects were evaluated with death rate,residual of brain trauma and palinesthesia time.Results The difference a- mount three groups in deep coma was significant (P0.01),while only in palinesthesia time the different amount three groups in light co- ma was significant(P0.01).Conclusion Large dose of naloxone could decrease death rate,improve prognosis and shorten palinesthesia time of severe intoxation tetrame patients。
