Clinical Observation of "Shugan Hewei Decoction" in Treating Mixed Reflux Esophagitis in 45 cases

Abstract

Objective To observe the clinical effects of Shugan Hewei Decoction in the treatment of mixed reflux esophagitis.Method Seventy-five cases were randomized into two groups:treatment group in which 45 cases were treated with Shugan Hewei Decoction and control group in which 30 cases were treated with Omeprazole,with a course of 8 weeks.Results The clinical effective rate was 95.6% in treatment group and 86.7% in control group;the gastroscopic effective rate was 84.2% in treatment group and 80.0% in control group.Conclusion It is revealed that Shugan Hewei Decoction has positive effects on mixed reflux esophagitis.
