Chaihu shugan decoction in treatment of reflux esophagitis

Abstract
Objective To investigate the modified chaihu shugan decoction in treatment of reflux esophagitis.Methods 66 cases of reflux esophagitis patients were randomly divided into treatment group and control group(33 cases in each),the treatment group received chaihu shugan decoction,and the control group received Omeprazole.The clinical effect in the two groups were observed.Results The total effect rate in the treatment and control groupwas 90.9% and 57.6% respectively,and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P0.05).Conclusion There were no adverse reactions in the treatment group,but the control group had little adverse reactions.
