Significance of the Expression of P504S、p63、34βE12 in Prostatic Disease

Objective To investigate the significance of the expression of P504S、p63、34βE12 in benign and malignant disease of prostate.Methods Immunohistochemistry was used to detect the expression of P504S、p63 and 34βE12 in prostate adenocarcinoma(n=43),high-grade prostatic intraepithelial neoplasia(n=27) and benign prostatic hyperplasia(n=40).Results The expression of P504S was significantly different between the prostate adenocarcinoma,high-grade prostatic intraepithelial neoplasias or benign prostatic hyperplasia(P0.01).The p63、 34βE12 had a negative expression in prostate adenocarcinoma,weak、moderate or strong expression in high-grade prostatic intraepithelial neoplasias and strong expression in benign prostatic hyperplasia.Conclusion P504S is a sensitive and specific marker for prostate adenocarcinoma.When combined with p63、 34βE12,P504S has a great significance in differentiating diagnosis of prostatic disease.
