Objective To observe the effect of LIZHUWEI triple therapy for active peptic ulcer. Methods 100 patients were divided into two groups at random : Group A was treated with LIZHUWEI, Group B with lansoprazoie carbenicillin metronidazole, one week for both groups. The therapeutic outcome, rate of helicobacter pylori (HP) eradication and adverse effects of the two groups were observed and compared. Results There was no significant differences between the two groups in terms of cure rate and HP eradication ( u=0.590, χ 2=0.542, P 0.05). No serious side effects were found. Conclusion LIZHUWEI is effective and has no reliable to be used clinically.
