Research on ASEAN-oriented Soft Power Construction in Guangxi

Abstract

Soft power provides a brand-new perspective to assess international relationship.Cooperation between China and ASEAN shall give priority to soft power construction,thus realizing balanced development between hard power and soft power.Soft power construction is a strategic choice to uplift the strategic status of Guangxi in China-ASEAN cooperation.Based on the unique advantages and excellent foundation of soft power construction,five measures and suggestions are put forward for ASEAN-oriented soft power construction in Guangxi,including enhancing general design of ASEAN policies,expanding regional diplomacy in ASEAN,implementing cultural project for going global,strengthening construction of Nanning channel and reinforcing personnel base construction.
