Abstract
Objective To study effective way of rehabilitation training for patients with Alzheimer's disease. Methods 80 AD patients at early and middle stages were randomized into two groups: experimental group(n=40) and control group(n=40).Patients in the experimental group received one-year rehabilitation training, including individuated trainings of intelligence,self-care and physical ability, and those in the control group were treated with routine. All the patients were evaluated every 3 months with MMSE before and after training. Results The total scores of MMSE in the experimental group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P0.05)after 9~12 months' training; After 1 year's training the scores of orientation and language were significantly different from those in the control group(P0.05).Conclusions Comprehensive rehabilitation training can improve AD patients' cognitive function and could be used widely.
