During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Wang Clan in Ximen of Xiuning County attaches great importance to the cultivation of the talents in business. Confucian education is the basis of cultivating the talents in business by Huizhou clan, including valuing the cultivation of individual morality,placing weight on doing things after conducting oneself first and the cultivation of practical skills and paying equal attention to theory and practice,all of which are the foundation for Huizhou merchants growing strongly.
