Clinical Observation of "Shugan Jieyu Decoction" in Treating 36 Cases of Post-apoplectic Depression

Abstract

To observe the clinical efficacy of Shugan Jieyu Decoction in the treatment of post-apoplectic depression, 72 cases were randomized into two groups: treatment group in which 36 cases were treated by Shugan Jieyu Decoction and control group in which 36 cases were treated by Bai You Jie , for a course with 4 weeks. The clinical efficacy and HAMD score were observed and compared. Results: The total effective rate was 83.3% in treatment group and 80. 6% in control group; HAMD scores improved obviously( P 0. 05 ) , with no difference between two groups.
