Effects of Enalapril and Metoprolol in the Treatment of 38 Patients with Diastolic Heart Failure

Objective To observe the clinical effect and safety of enalaril in combination with metorolol in the treatment of left ven-tricular diastolic heart failure. Methods 73 patients with left ventricular diastolic heart failure atients were randomly divided into two groups:the control group (35 cases) were given routine treatment,the observation group (38 cases) were treated with additional enalaril and metorolol on the basis of conventional theray. Results The indicators of left ventricular diastolic function A peak,E peak,E/A,IRT in the observation group had significant imrovements (P 0.05). The observation group had 27 cases of marked effectiveness,8 cases of effectiveness and 3 cases of ineffectiveness,with a total efficiency of 92.1%; the control group had 14 cases of marked effectiveness,10 cases of effectiveness,and 11 cases of ineffectiveness,with a total effective rate of 65.7%,by statistical test (P 0.05). Conclusion Enalaril and metorolol in the treatment of left ventricular diastolic heart failure have both independent and synergistic effects,which are effective and safe,and deserve clinical promotion.
