Abstract

By means of iodine as catalyst, the N-butyl aniline was synthesized from the reaction between N-butanol and aniline. In the paper,it investigated the variation of yield coefficient when the time, temperature and catalyst use level of reaction were different.By way of the analysis of GC-Ms and gas chromatography,it showed that the N-butyl aniline was certainly generated. When the ratio of N-Butanol to aniline was 0.8∶1(N-butanolbeing 59g,aniline being 93g),and when the constant agitation velocity was 400 r/min the optimal reaction time was 8 h,the reaction temperature was 260 ℃,the iodine quality was 5‰(0.465g) of the aniline.Under the condition of the above, the yield coefficient of N-butyl aniline is up to 35.85%.
