Abstract

The synthesis process of urea peroxide from industrial urea and hydrogen peroxide had been studied. The influence on stability of urea peroxide by different stabilizers was investigated and potassium dihydrogen phosphate was selected. Some factors which affected the content of active oxygen, yield of urea peroxide and its stability were researched by means of orthogonal experiments, included reaction temperature, reaction time, ratio of hydrogen peroxide to urea, crystallozation temperature and drying temperature.Optimal conditions were obtained:the reaction temperature was 45℃,reaction time was 40 min,the molar ratio of hydrogen peroxide to urea was 1.1:1,crystallozation temperature was 5℃ and drying temperature was 50℃,content of active oxygen was 35%,yield of urea peroxide was 69% and its stability was up to 97%,which had good reproducibility.
