Abstract
A highly sensitive spectrophotometric method has been developed for the determination of trace iron, based on the color reaction of iron(Ⅲ) with meso tetra(4\|methoxy 4 sulfoncphenyl)poyphyrin( p OCH 3TPPS 4) in the medium of pH=3.5-5.5.The apparent molar absorptivity of the complex is 2.0×10\+4L·mol -1 ·cm -1 at 446nm.Beer's law is obeyed for iron in the range of 0-10μg/25mL.The method was used for the determination of iron in the peanut shell with satisfactory results.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
