Abstract
Under weakly alkaline conditions, the color reaction of a new reagent, meso tetra(3 chloro 4 sulfophenyl) porphyrin ( m ClTPPS 4) with cobalt has been investigated. Without other auxiliary reagents, the porphyrin reagent reacts with Co(Ⅱ) to form 1∶1(M∶L) complex in boiling water. The maximum absorption wavelength of the complex is 426nm. The molar absorptivity is 4.0×10 5L·mol -1 ·cm -1 . The proposed method has been applied to the determination of cobalt in vitamin B 12 with satisfactory results.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
