Effect of Yishen Jiedu decoction on active systemic lupus crythcmatosus

Abstract

Objective To study the effect of Yishen Jiedu decoction on active systemic lupus crythcmatosus. Methods 67 patients with active systemic lupus crythcmatosus were randomly divided into control group,which were treated by Prednisolone and Cyclophosphamide,and treatment group,which were treated by Yishen Jiedu decoction and on the basis of control group treatment. 24 h urine protein,Alb,Cr,BUN and ALT were measured after three months. Results 24 h urine protein,Alb,Cr,BUN and ALT after treatment were improved in two groups ( P 0. 05). The improvement in treatment group was superior to that in control group ( P 0. 05). The total effective rate in treatment group (91. 1% ) was higher than that in control group (75. 7% ,P 0. 05). Conclusion Yishen Jiedu decoction combined with routine therapy has definite effect on active systemic lupus crythcmatosus.
