Abstract
Spatial variation characteristics of soil pH value, organic matter and total nitrogen in Daishan island,Zhoushan,Zhejiang province were studied by statistical and GIS spatial interpolation analysis. The result indicated the main factors of variation.Spatial distribution map of the three indexes were made by Kriging interpolation method. The results demonstrated that the variation coefficient of pH value, organic matter and total nitrogen were 0.11,0.13 and 0.54,and spatial distribution of them presented strip or patched. The correlation coefficients of organic matter and total nitrogen reached extremely significant(P0.01),and their spatial distribution was similar. The spatial variation of pH value, organic matter and total nitrogen was mainly affected by the distribution of vegetation, soil types, topography, etc. The major influencing factor of the organic matter was distribution of vegetation.
