Abstract

The soil organic matter(SOM) and total nitrogen(TN) were analyzed from the samples collected at 6 areas in Harbin. The results showed the there was a significant correlation between SOM and TN.The spatial variability of soil nutrients were analyzed with Classical statistics and geostatistics combined with GIS.The results showed that the semivariogram of organic matter and total nitrogen was best described by Exponential, the ratios of nugget to sill of organic matter and total nitrogen were 59.7 % and 52%,respectively,indicating that the spatial autocorrelation of the two nutrients indices were moderately dependent. The maps of the two kinds of nutrients distribution were drawn by GS+ and GIS to provide scientific basis for agricultural design, production management and reasonable implement.
