Abstract

Objective: To investigate the clinical significance of dynamic changes of the platelet parameters and coagulation factors in bleeding patients with liver cirrhosis. Methods: Fifty four cases of bleeding patients with liver cirrhosis were observed. The prothrombin time(PT),platelet count(PLT),platelet hematocrit(PCT),mean platelet volume(MPV),mean platelet distribution width(PDW) and large platelet ratio(P-LCR) were detected in 1 d,3 d,7 d before bleeding and observed the change tenderly, while the same indexes at early admission in patients as control group were compared. Results: Compared with control group,PLT significantly decreased and PDW,P-LCR,PT significantly increased in 1 d,3 d,7 d before bleeding in patients with liver cirrhosis, but PCT,MPV had no significant difference between before bleeding and after bleeding. Conclusion: As the platelet count decrease in patients with cirrhosis, defective platelet function and blood coagulation disorder are easily combined with gastrointestinal bleeding, dynamic monitoring of the PLT,PDW,P-LCR and PT in patients with cirrhosis can help make early warning and prevention guidance.
