Abstract

Objective: To study the analgesic efficacy and side effects of lornoxicam combined with fentanyl used for lower limbs operation. Methods: Sixty patients underwent selective lower limbs operation were divided randomly into epidural anesthesia group(group Ⅰ) or patient-controlled intravenous analgesia group(group Ⅱ).Visual analogue score(VAS) was selected as the index of pain-intensity.4,12,24,48 h analgesic efficacy after the beginning of analgesia, the adverse effects during analgesia period were observed. Results: VAS at 4,12,24,48 h during analgesia, patients′ overall satisfaction on analgesia therapy were not different between two groups(P0.05).The percentage of nausea, vomiting and mild respiration depression(SpO295%) were lower significantly in group Group Ⅱ than that in groupⅠ(P0.05).Conclusion: Lornoxicam combined with fentanyl for analgesia after lower limbs operation could reduce side effects for postoperative analgosia.
