Clinical Analysis on the Combined Trabeculectomy with Adjustable Suture for Angle-closure Glaucoma

Objective:To discuss the effect of the combined trabeculectomy with adjustable suture for angle-closure glaucoma.Methods:55 cases with primary glaucoma were undergone with the combined trabeculectomy.The adjustable suture method of scleral flap was adopted during operation.Observing the intraocular pressure,the anterior chamber,the filter-bubble and the loose of adjustable suture etc after operation.Results:All the cases were followed up for 6~12 months,average 8.7 months.The adjustable suture was pulled out for 3~16 days,average 8.21 days.The intraocular pressure was 12.12~18.46 mmHg(average 15.25 mmHg) before the suture was pulled out,and was 10.20~17.86 mmHg(average 12.20 mmHg) after that(P0.05).There were no complications and effusion of filter-bubble in all cases.The shallow anterior chamber was 10.90%(Ⅰgrade:4case;Ⅱgrade:2case).At last,the intraocular pressure was 10.00~17.30 mmHg(average 12.55 mmHg).The eyes of applanation filter-bubble,microcystic filter-bubble,and functional filter-bubble was 36,19,and 55 respectively.Conclusion:The combined trabeculectomy with adjustable suture can efficaciously control the filtration of aqueous,reduce postoperative complications and improve the rate of success of surgery.
