Effect of Weiyangning on experimental gastric ulcer

Abstract

Objective:To study anti-ulcer effects of Weiyangning.Methods:The effects of anti-ulcer in stress-induced gas-tric ulcer in rats,pyloric ligation gastric ulcer in rats and acetic acid-gastric ulcer model in rats were observed.Results:Weiyangning(2.24 g/kg) could improve the healing rate of stress-ulcer and acetic acid-gastric ulcer,Weiyangning(2.24 g/kg and 1.12 g/kg) could improve the healing rate of pyloric ligation gastric ulcer.Weiyangning could obviously inhibitactivity of pepsin and gastrin.Conclusion:Weiyangning has protective effect for experimental gastric ulcer in Rats.
