On Further Perfecting the Law of the Regional Autonomy for Ethnic Minorities

In 2001,Standing Committee of the National People's Congress carried out significant modification for the law of the regional autonomy for ethnic minorities,which made the law of the regional autonomy for ethnic minorities better meet the new changed conditions.But to meet the goal to accelerate the development of the economy and culture of the minorities' autonomous regions,reduce the gap between the developed areas and minorities' autonomous regions,and promote every ethnic group to obtain prosperity together,the law of the regional autonomy for ethnic minorities shall be further perfected,namely to strengthen the operability of the law of the regional autonomy for ethnic minorities,implement and enlarge the autonomous rights of the minorities' autonomous regions;and perfect the system of implementation and supervision to the law of the regional autonomy for ethnic minorities.
