Abstract

From the traditional translation theory of being faithful,communicative and elegant,which requires translators to follow the original work and its author strictly,to Walter Benjamin's The Task of Translators,the of translators has been discussed openly and widely.The theory of textual subjectivity advocated by Jacques Derrida and others shows clearly the spirit of postmodernism translation aesthetics.This paper will discuss the task of translators and their operating space in the literary translation from postmodernism perspective.
