Application of clinical nursing pathway in nursing of patients with cerebral hemorrhage

Objective To further study the application of clinical nursing pathway in nursing of patients with cerebral hemorrhage. Methods Seventy-five patients with cerebral hemorrhage in our hospital during February 2012 to April 2013 were selected, and were randomly divided into the two groups. Thirty-seven cases in the control group were used routine nursing,while thirty-eight cases in the observation group were used clinical nursing pathway method. The activities of daily living ability was evaluated with the Brthel index, the hospitalization expenses,hospitalization time,Brthel index,satisfaction and degree of acquiring the relevant knowledge of patients in the two groups were compared. Results There was not significantly different in the Brthel index before admission between the two groups(P 0.05), but the Brthel index of the observation group after discharge was significantly better than that of the control group(P 0.05);The hospitalization expenses,hospitalization time,satisfaction and degree of acquiring the relevant knowledge of the observation group were significantly better than those of the control group(P 0.05). Conclusion Implementing clinical nursing pathway for patients with cerebral hemorrhage can increase the patients' satisfaction,reduce the medical costs and hospitalization time,and ensure the therapeutic effect.
