Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical benefits of implementation clinical pathway nursing mode in patients with generated cerebral hemorrhage, and accumulate experience for clinical nursing. Methods 88 patients with cerebral hemorrhage from July 2010 to December 2012 in the Neurology Department of the People's Hospital of Ya'an City were selected and randomly divided into study group and control group according to the number table method, with 44 cases in each group. The control group was given the routine nursing mode, and the study group was given the clinical pathway nursing. The Barthel index, nursing satisfaction, rate of knowledge master and medical expenses of two groups in 4 weeks after intervention were recorded and compared. Results The Barthel index that was recored on the day of admission in the two groups had no statistically significant difference(t = 1.654, P 0.05); 14 days after treatment, the Barthel index, rate of knowledge master, and nursing satisfaction of study group [(77.67±8.84), 86.4%, 95.5%] were higher than those of control group [(46.12±5.43), 38.6%, 84.1%], the differences were statistically significant(all P 0.05); the medical expenses of study group [(12 724.51±207.30) yuan] was more than that of control group [(16 787.27±356.02) yuan], the difference was statistically significant(t = 15.864, P 0.05). Conclusion The application of clinical pathway nursing mode for patients with cerebral hemorrhage can obviously improve the quality of nursing and the activities ability of patients, and has a satisfactory clinical result.
