Abstract
College English teaching in China has been carried on based on the CET-4 and CET-6 for many years,which,in practice,is not beneficial to improve students' English.It is urgent to reform our College English teaching mode,and find proper ways to change the present situation and improve students' practical ability to meet the demand of new era.
