On College English Teaching Promoting Application-oriented English Teaching

With the increasing requirements of social development for college students' social practice ability,colleges are more and more focus on train students' comprehensive ability. College English education as a foundation course in college teaching,needs to actively innovative teaching mode,deepen the reform of English teaching,change the traditional teacher-centered teaching mode,create teaching mode of training students' practical English. Combined with years of practical teaching experience,this paper analyzes the problems in the current college English teaching process,verifies the advantages of applied teaching,and then describes how to more effectively promote college English teaching.
