Abstract
The effects of Ca treatment on the physiology of ZhonghuaShoutao peach fruits after harvest were studied. The results showed that 1.5 % CaCl2 solution treatment significantly decreased the respiration intensity and the ethylene production of fruits, delayed the decrease of fruit firmness and soluble solid content and inhibited the increase of membrane permeability and exuding juice rate. The CaCl2 solution treatment kept the quality of ZhonghuaShoutao peach fruits well.
