Abstract

The effect of salicylic acid on the resistance of cucumber seedling to chilling injury is studied. The results show that SA could enhance the activity of SOD and POD, and reduce the content of MDA(a product of membrane lipid peroxidation) and relative conductivity. Therefore the resistance of seedling to chilling injury is improved by SA.
