Abstract
Effects of different levels of cadmium(Cd~(2+)) on activity of catalase in liver of Carassius auratus were studied by toxicity test. The results showed that within the range of exposure dosage(ρ_(Cd~(2+))=0~2.24 mg·L~(-1)),inductions of low Cd~(2+)() levels to the activity of CAT in liver of Carassius auratus occurred, and high levels of Cd~(2+)() inhibited that of CAT.The dosage-effect curve was parabola.
