Abstract

The optimizing conditions of chemical hydrolysis in fish oil and separation ofω-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (EPA/DHA)from hydrolysis fish oil were studied, respectively. The results showed:the optimum conditions:saponification time 60 min,50 ℃,ethanol/water 6:1 (v/v),the degree of hydrolysis was 95.5% and the recovery of EPA and DHA were 91.2% and 88.9%. C18 column was used to isolate EPA/DHA in hydrolysis fish oil,the purity of final product of EPA/DHA was proved 92.9% and 93.2% respectively by MS and HPLC analysis.
