Abstract

Objective:To evaluate the values of ultrasonography,X-ray mammography and magnetic resonance imaging in diagnosis of breast cancer.Methods:1 201 patients with breast cancer who were diagnosed definitely by puncture, surgery and pathological examination in the hospital from December 2008 to December 2010 were selected,1 189 patients received ultrasonography,1 175 patients received whole vision digital X-ray mammography, and 575 patients received magnetic resonance imaging examination.Results:1 260 lesions were detected,51 patients were diagnosed with bilateral breast cancer, and 8 patients were diagnosed with bilateral lesions in unilateral breast,982 lesions were cut off and confirmed by pathological examination,278 lesions were confirmed by biopsy. The missed diagnosis numbers of breast cancer of ultrasonography,X-ray mammography and magnetic resonance imaging were 182,170 and 79.There was no significant difference in accuracy, sensitivity and specificity among ultrasonography,X-ray mammography and magnetic resonance imaging(P0.05).Conclusion:Ultrasonography,X-ray mammography and magnetic resonance imaging have respective advantages and disadvantages for diagnosis of breast cancer.Ultrasonography might be the premier choice for diagnosis of breast cancer if economic factors are considered.
