Abstract
Objective To assess the value of the combined diagnosis by ultrasonography and mammography for breast cancer. Methods The materials of 100 breast cancer cases were analyzed retrospectively. All cases of breast cancer were examined by ultrasonography and mammography before operation.Diagnosis was made in every case and compared with the pathological results. Results In 100 patients with breast cancer, the accuracy of mammography is 87(87/100).That of ultrasonography is 94%(94/100).That of the combined diagnosis by two methods is 100%(100/100).Conclusion Ultrasonography combined with mammography can improve the diagnosis of early breast cancer.
