Scientific Thoughts in the Period from Qing to Republican China and Huang Zun-xian s Poems

With the break-through of closed-door policies in the end of Qing Dynasty,a mass of west technologies and information entered China which led to a shock to the Chinese people s idealistic structure and scientific thoughts that points to universal truth gradually came into being and west information、scientific ways and values were accepted.To a certain extent,it influenced the writing of poems of the time which obviously affected Huang Zun-xian,and the cosmic concept,Darwinism and cosmopolitanism in his poems were the reflection of reform thoughts,and the important base of the changes in Wu Si s poems.
