On the Course of the General Acceptance to Huang Ting-jian's Poems in the Qing Dynasty

Abstract

In the Qing Dynasty,the course of acceptance to Huang Ting-jian's poems went with learning from Song Poetry thought,rising bit by bit and to its flourishing time.In the early part of the Qing Dynasty,the ideological trend of learning from Song Poetry in the late Ming Dynasty became more and more popular,and the dispute of whether to take Huang Ting-jian's poems as model occurred.In the middle of the Qing Dynasty,the school taking Song Poetry as model headed by Weng Fang-gang held Huang Ting-jian in high esteem for his poems,and in the later period,the school taking Song Poetry as model formed partnerships with the school of Tongcheng and the school administering state affairs,and the style of Huang Ting-jian's poems was made more and more popular in the years of the reign of Emperors Daoguang and Xianfeng.In the late years of the Qing Dynasty and the early years of the Republic of China,Huang Ting-jian's poems and his pioneering spirit prospered once again.
