Abstract
OBJECTIVE To study the chemical constituents from the fruits of Ligustrum lucidum.METHODS The constituents were extracted with 95% EtOH,partitioned with different solvents,and isolated and purified by silica gel,sephadex LH-20,and HPLC column chromatography.The structures were elucidated by physico-chemical properties and spectroscopic data.RESULTS Nine compounds were isolated and identified as 3-O-cis-P-coumaroyl maslinic acid(1),oleoside 11-methyl ester(2),oleonuezhenide(3),G 13(4),oleoside dimethyl ester(5),nuezhenide(6),oleuropein(7),3,4-dihydroxyphenethyl-β-D-glucoside(8) and 3,4-dihydroxyphenethyl-(6′-caffeoyl)-β-D-glucoside(9) from the titled plant.CONCLUSION Compound 1 from the Ligustrum genus and the titled plant,and compound 2-4,8 and 9 from the titled plant,were obtained for the first time.
