Abstract
In this paper,a method on fast nonlinear analysis of Sap2000 soft is briefly introduced.Energy dissipation and seismic strengthening technology is applied to an existing building.According to the insufficiency of original structure seismic behaviors,the project by using energy dissipation braces with viscous damper is proposed,and the main results are also given.The analysis results prove that the vibration response of the structure with energy dissipation devices could be effectively reduced.
